Bruno Chouinard

A visual artist with Arts & Letters diplomas from University of Montreal, UQAM, with studies at Georg Augüst Universität in Göttingen-Germany, Bruno Chouinard has had exhibitions of his work in galleries and museums in Québec, in Canada, in USA and in Germany. In 2010, his first short film took a look at the thematic of No man’s land expression. An art experimental film about one of his art installation’s No man’s land.

In 2012, with Paolo Chimney Sweep, he directed and produced a 53 min. portrait of a typical and unique chimney sweeper and shed light for the first time as film director at some international film festivals. In 2015,Pouding Chômeurs -Requiem for Unemployment- has had its premiere at the Montreal International Documentary Festival and was awarded Best Feature Film at the Working Title FF in Vicenza, Italia in 2017. Stray Duck ( Canards Errants) went out on festivals at Montreal International Documentary Festival as well as Festival dei popoli, Florence - Italy in 2021.
Homles (homeless) is his fifth film.
